On the river in 2008
Thanks to the gargantuan efforts of our volunteer crew, to the 2,800+ volunteers who
participated this year, to the generous support of our sponsors and the dedication of our many partners throughout the Missouri River valley, 2008 was an amazing year on the river for Missouri River Relief. Thanks to all of you that dove right in and made it happen!
Our focus is cleaning up the river, and we made a splash this year in Missouri River clean-ups from Yankton, S.D, all the way to the Mississippi River (Click here for our 2008 Trash Tally!). But our mission also includes connecting people to the river, and we've worked hard to educate children and adults alike about this amazing resource, usually on its banks or on its muddy water.
