2009 Missouri River clean-up events

March 7 - Mari Osa Dump Clean-up /Part 2:
We’ll be returning to help our friends on the Osage River remove an ancient massive dumpsite under the 54/63 bridge between Jefferson City and Loose Creek, MO.

March 21 - River Otter Day, Kansas City, MO:
The third annual clean-up of the historic town of Kansas on the riverfront Heritage Trail.

March 28 - Trailnet Clean-up, St. Louis, MO:
We’ll be providing on-the-river support for our friends in St. Louis.

April 4 - Project Blue River Rescue, Kansas City, MO:
Back to help out in one of the biggest one-day clean-ups in the state.

May 9 - Yankton, SD:
In its sixth year of operation, we will once again be joining this local effort to clean-up below the Gavin’s Point Dam as well as helping to organize Yankton’s first learning festival on the banks of this beautiful stretch of Missouri river.

May29, 30 - Omaha, NE:
Two days of fun on the river! A middle school Watershed Festival followed by our third clean-up in this great river town.

June 27 - Sioux City, IA:
After a successful first clean-up last year, our friends in the tri-state area have invited us back for their second consecutive clean-up.

August 4-8 - Missouri River 340:
We’ll be providing safety boats for the world’s longest continuous river race from Kansas City to St. Charles, while scouting for trash of course!

August 22 - Operation Clean Stream, Meramec River:
41 years and still going strong! Many sites to choose from!

September 12-19 - Mid-Missouri River Camp:
Join us for a week long series of learning events ending with a massive one day clean-up in our state capital, Jefferson City, celebrating 20 years of the Stream Team Program!

October 2, 3 - Kansas City Clean-up and Learning Festival:
We’ll be working with the Missouri River Watershed Festival on Oct. 2, bringing in students from around the KC area to learn on the banks of the river, followed by a major urban clean-up on Oct. 3.
